Delete after reading I created this template combining elements from @ysabellesua’s outlining template and @mixbecca’s notion for writers templates with my own additions. I wanted a centralized place that had all of the important project management details easily accessible, as well as some quick access links to things like a word count tracker and playlists. This template can be used in either light or dark mode. Please tag me at @malorienil on Twitter or Instagram if you use or modify this template simply because I love seeing how these templates continue to evolve and grow! I hope we can chat soon. Enjoy, and happy writing!

Delete after reading Use this section to jot down notes and ideas. General plot points and ideas that you may want to try to incorporate, and ideas specific to each act. With Toggle Lists, you can add blocks of any type. If you want to add a database to general plot and to-do lists to each act, you can! You can also create subpages so you can jot more complex notes into that space and have them linked under the toggle. The options are endless!

THIS WEEK’S FOCUS:

Short term writing goals—things you want to focus on for the week as you draft.

THIS MONTH’S FOCUS:

Longer term goals—can be as simple as word count goals or as complex as mapping out world-building. Ideally, this is a section to jot down goals that require longer than a week.

Delete after reading A quick note on the Scene and Beat Sheet sections: I do not use the Save the Cat beat sheet, so I have edited this in my personal template. However, I know many writers do like to use that framework, so I have left the original work done by @ysabellesua for ease. Edit this section to reflect whatever method works best for you!
